World's first jet-powered flying humanoid: iCub3-based research platform with four jet turbines (two on the arms, two on a back jetpack), titanium spine and heat-resistant covers, ~70 kg with over 1000 N thrust. AI-assisted whole-body control; first liftoff (~50 cm) in June 2025 by IIT's AMI lab in Genoa for aerial-humanoid and disaster-response research.
